Fly overnight from Milwaukee to Tel Aviv, Israel.

TUE 10/20

Arrive in Israel and head north to our hotel on a Mediterranean beach in Hadera.

WED 10/21

Drive north to visit Caesarea by the Sea, Mt. Carmel, Megiddo, and Nazareth on the way to our 3-night hotel on the Sea of Galilee.

THU 10/22

Travel by boat to Capernaum to see the site of St. Peter’s home, the synagogue where Jesus taught, and the seashore where he called his disciples to become “fishers of men”. Visit the place where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount and see a recently-discovered boat that was on the sea at the time of Jesus.

FRI 10/23

Visit the town of Magdala (Mary of Magdala) and the newly-discovered synagogue where Jesus taught. Head to Caesarea Philippi where Peter said to Jesus, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”. Take in its beautiful nature preserves and see a 4000-year-old gate at the ancient city of Dan.

SAT 10/24

Drive through the Jordan Valley and stop at Beit Shean, an ancient Roman city. Continue to Jericho and visit the traditional site of Jesus’s baptism. Stay over at a Dead Sea spa hotel.

SUN 10/25

Ascend in a cable car to the top of Masada where the Jewish people made their last stand against the Romans in 70 A.D. Drive north to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, and end in Jerusalem at the top of Mount of Olives. Stay in a 4-star Jerusalem hotel for three nights.

MON 10/26

Begin the day at the Mount of Olives with a walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane. Enjoy prayer time in the dungeon below Caiaphas’s house and take a walk to the City of David.

TUE 10/27

Travel to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd’s Fields and shop at a Christian store in Bethlehem. In the afternoon, there will be time for prayer at the Western Wall, a visit to Mount Zion, and the place of the Last Supper while experiencing the wonderful aromas and vibrancy of the Old City of Jerusalem.

WED 10/28

Visit the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Book Museum. Conclude our time in the Holy Land with a day in the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk the Via Delarosa and attend a communion service at the Garden Tomb. We’ll take a midnight flight to New York with a mid-afternoon arrival home.
