We teach that Jesus Christ, the second person in the Trinity, is the Lord and Savior of the world. We believe Jesus is the Word of God made man, that he was in the beginning with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and that all things were created through him (John 1:1-5, 14).

We believe that Jesus, who is fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary, was sent to suffer and die on the cross as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. We believe that he was raised from the dead by the power of God so that we might receive forgiveness of sin and everlasting life with God in heaven.

We believe that Jesus will return at the end of time in judgment (John 5:27-30). We believe that just as Jesus was obedient to the will of God the Father, we too, should be imitators of his obedience and life, and therefore, love and serve as he did (Ephesians 4:11-13, 5:1-2).

We teach that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is active in the lives of people today (John 14:16-17). We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work calling us, building us in to a holy temple (Ephesians 2:22), and teaching us how to live the new life we have been given in Christ (John 16:13-14, Romans 8:13-16, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We believe that every Christian ought to desire to be “filled” with the Holy Spirit (John 3:5-8, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 5:18).

We are Word-centered and teach that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. As such, it is the definitive authority for all matters of our faith and lives. We believe that the Bible is true and bears witness to the saving grace of God in Jesus Christ, the word made flesh (John 5:39, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21).

We teach that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not something that we can earn or attain on our own. This was God’s choice so that we would in all matters learn to be dependent upon Him (John 1:12-13, 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10).

We teach that Christ is the head of the church, which is gathered by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls and gathers believers together in order that we may be empowered and equipped to carry out the Great Commission of Christ to go out and preach, teach, baptize, and make disciples of all nations. We believe that the purpose of the church is to bear witness to Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:14-16; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13, 2:22).

We teach that Christian life is lived out in the call of Jesus, “Follow me.” Discipleship is a lifelong call to obedience, love, service, study, prayer, worship, fellowship, stewardship and spiritual growth.

We offer a 10-week one-on-one discipleship opportunity as well as a variety of small groups.

Jesus commands his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19). This is not a polite suggestion. It is a command from Jesus which he gives as his "last words" before his ascension into heaven.

The Bible does not say that we are saved by baptism. It clearly says that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). The assurance of salvation comes when the promises proclaimed at baptism are claimed and confirmed.

At Christ Church, we baptize people of all ages – infants through adults – with water, “in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” (the Trinity). We recognize all Christian baptisms performed in this manner as valid and lasting.

As baptized infants and children grow, their faith grows through hearing and experiencing God's Word. Confirmation is a time for those who have been baptized as infants or children to make a public affirmation of their Christian faith (saying "yes" to God!). We confirm students 7th grade and beyond.

The first communion or The Lord’s Supper can be found in the Bible (Luke 22:1-20). At Christ Church we participate in communion every Sunday and believe that Jesus’ body and blood are present in the bread and wine. We invite all who are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ to receive communion with us.
